As we stepped in the 1990s, a majority of the people dreamt of Korea’s advancement following the foundation, industrialization, and democratization. However, it is in doubt whether the dream can be realized even years after reaching the 21^st century. As reasons for facing such reality, we can pick the incomplete advancement reformation in 1995 and the foreign currency exchange crisis in 1997. Moreover, we can find the fundamental cause in the malfunction of Korea’s leadership in predicting the change in the era of globalization and informatization and providing the accurate vision and development strategy for the leap towards national advancement. Finally in this book, the author lays out the 15 national task, advancement vision, and policy tasks in order to overcome the historic faults and contribute to the advancement of the Republic of Korea.
