Korea's Advancement, What Should We Do? (Focusing on Diplomacy, Security, Economy, Education)
The advancement strategies in the field of diplomacy, security, economy, and education proposed by the 4 political parties are as follows. The Grand National Party’s advancement strategy can be organized to ‘big government, small government’, ‘job creation through growth’, ‘settlement of strong security system’, ‘strengthening of Korea-United States’ alliance’, ‘active unification plan’ and so on. Thus, in the economic field, new liberalism and in the diplomatic security field, strong security vision is the characteristic. On the other hand, the Uri party pursues a moderately pragmatic stance in the economic field and a realistic and pragmatic policy in the diplomatic security field. The Democratic Labor Party has a preference to distribution, equality, and other similar traditional social democratic policies, and in the diplomatic security field, shows a nationalistic tendency. As for the Democratic Party, it seeks active cooperation policy with North Korea in the diplomatic category and growth in the economic center, and stands for external progress and internal maintenance. This book constrictively proposes the core ideas of the debate on the advancement strategy of each political party.
